Boost Gauge

The boost gauge is the easiest to sort so I started with that. The pressure sensor needs to be connected to the intake manifold so rather than re-invent the wheel I did the same as Paul Timson.  I got a T-piece from Halfords (used for windscreen washers tubing), a short length of 8mm Samco vacuum hose and a couple of suitable jubilee clips.  That was the easy bit – now I had to connect the sensor to the gauge wiring and the connector needs to be fed through the firewall. Rather than make another hole I enlarged the hole used for the speedometer cable and fed the connection from the passenger compartment into the engine bay.  Currently the cabling and the sensor are temporarily fixed but will be permanently located when all the gauges have been fitted .
